PERSPECTIVE
Perspective Media FAQ
- I am playing a story that is supposed to have sound but I can't hear it.
- Good news is that it is not you, your iPad, or us. Most likely your iPad is muted or your sound is too low.
- Make sure your volume is turned up all the way.
- Make sure the rocker switch above the hardware volume buttons is set to ON, (there should not be an orange dot when looking from the side.)
- Double-tap Home button, then slide the running Apps to the right to reveal the iPad media controls. Make sure Sound is turned on and if the lest-most icon is a Sound icon, it is not on mute with a slash through it.
- If your problems persist don't feel bad. Most likely it is due to the confusions relating to how iOS treats the mute state. See Apple Side Switch support page for more information.
- How can I play stories on AppleTV?
- Use AirPlay Mirroring.
Note: Story sound tracks are silenced when playing on AppleTV in version 1.0.3.
-
I am using iOS 6 Beta 3. The sound cuts off sometime.
- We don't officially support Beta iOS releases, but will be working to be compatible with iOS6 when generally available of course.
-
My problem continues to persist. What should I do?
-
Report it to us. Please include screenshots and version number of the App and iOS and send to perspective@pixxa.com with your OS version, what story is not working.
